Yeah... I've had that happen before. It's really-

[Beat.]

Man... I understand, but-

[Beat.]

Mrr... Fine.

[Click.]

We should get going.

[hyperhero]

Oh, alright.

[Judai blinks a bit at that, curious as to what the call was about, but stands up, stretching. Even a short time in those restraints made him sore...]

[scissorbear]

Apparently I came back a bit too corrupted by the outside world... they don't like how much I'm just talking.

[He places it on his wrist again, the straps automatically coming out to cover over the thin arm.]

This way.

[He starts off down the hall.]

What's wrong with talking a lot?

[Judai's right after him, adjusting his jacket a bit. It's still kinda cold mostly naked like this, but eh, he's fine with just this.]

[scissorbear]

The fact that I'm not acting while I do it?

[How do you think he feels, hanging around a half-naked prisoner all the time?]

[Well, then he should yell at his superiors to do something about that.]

So? It's not like I can run out the door right now or anything. Last time I tried, they kinda shot me.

[scissorbear]

[SACRELIGE.]

But it also means I'm not getting results. So I get yelled at about it.

[hyperhero]

Well, fine. I'll just have to do my best so they stop that.

[...and somehow, his getting yelled at has made this better for him.]

[scissorbear]

Thank you, Judai!

[He smiles at him brightly, feeling relieved... and a little amused in a wicked way. He really is a weak spot for this guy, huh?]

No problem! What are friends for?

[Not what Sora's doing, that's for sure, but Judai's too innocent to hold anything against him.]

[scissorbear]

You're the one teaching me that!

[He jokes affectionately as he moves ahead to introduce them to the guards, who nod and let them past into the courtyard. It's bright and sunny and the air carries the scent of salt from the ocean. People are scattered all over, talking.]

[Judai takes a deep breath once they're outside, stretching out under the sunlight like a convict that's just been released from a life sentence. He's getting more than a few odd looks, considering his state of dress, but it's as if he doesn't even notice them.]

Man, it's nice out here! Almost like Academia back home.

[scissorbear]

When we head back, I'll take you the long way, so you can see the view.

[Despite having been inside for a while thanks to Judai, most of the people here don't seem to even notice Sora. Certainly there's no friendly calls or waves.]

What is your Academia like?

[hyperhero]

It's great! It's on an island, too, and we stay in it for most of the year, except to go home between them -- if you want, anyway. There's places to eat and places to buy cards from, and you can go out on the beach or by the docks if you want when class is out or on free days.

The teachers were great, and a lot of people knew each other! I made a lot of friends in all three dorms, and classes had us mixed around and sitting together a lot too.

[Which annoyed every single person of non-Red dorm when they were sat next to Judai, but since he slept through most everything, he sure doesn't remember that.]

We could also duel wherever we wanted and whenever we wanted, but we had a curfew we had to listen to. Though dueling at night's pretty fun!

[He sounds so excited and proud of his school...]

[It sounds pretty boring, but the way Judai talks makes it obvious how much he loves his school.]

You seem the type of person who makes friends everywhere.

Kinda, yeah! It just sorta happens, but I like it.

[scissorbear]

[He reaches into his pocket, taking out one of the larger lollies that are intended to just be licked at and offering it to Judai as he walks.]

You said you slept through class though, so why does it matter if your classes were mixed?

[hyperhero]

'cause it meant we all took the same stuff, so everyone could help everyone else and we were one big school.

[Ooh, lollipop. He gladly takes it, tearing the package off and starting to lick on it.]

No, I meant... why does it matter to you?

[He tugs out one of his own, licking at it leisurely.]

Because everyone else needed help. Just because I slept through it doesn't mean everyone did, and people still worried over the stuff in there.

[Even when he didn't care, the fact that someone else did seems to be enough for him.]

[scissorbear]

But it doesn't affect you.

[Is this guy incapable of selfishness?]

[hyperhero]

So?

[From the confused look on his face, probably, yes. At least about anything not to do with food.]
